Like the hit song by Lil Nas X, we are going to travel the "old town road" and see people that Jesus encountered along the road. We will see how they withstood the pressure of others and how Jesus met them where they are and does the same for us.
In this message, we see the disciples arguing about who is the greatest on the road to Capernaum. Jesus questions them about their conversation, expresses the importance of being servants, and called them to build a kingdom based on equality. Jesus calls us to make others great and to promote equal opportunity for those who are marginalized in society.
