Like the hit song by Lil Nas X, we are going to travel the "old town road" and see people that Jesus encountered along the road. We will see how they withstood the pressure of others and how Jesus met them where they are and does the same for us.
In this message, we join the two men from Emmaus, who encounter a stranger. They tell him what they think they know but remain open to learning more from this travel companion. When they invite him into their home, they discover that it is Jesus. We grow in our relationship with God and others when we remain teachable and open to learning something new.
