In this series, we will look at the various people named Mary in the gospel stories and see how Jesus elevates women in his birth, life, and death.
In this third message, we continue to look at Mary of Bethany, who is now weeping over the death of her brother, Lazarus. When Jesus arrives, he joins with Mary in her sorrow, raises Lazarus from the dead, and experiences both the acceptance and rejection of those who witness the miracle. We too must decide what to do with this Jesus.
