Throughout this study of the book of Ruth, we will see the counter-cultural way that Ruth acted in her masculine-dominant society. She is affirmed by the Jews as a woman of tremendous character.
In this second message, we examine Ruth's steadfast care and devotion to her mother-in-law by going out to the field to work and provide for them. We see Boaz's generosity to share with her and explore how "sharing is caring." God supplies our needs and gives us opportunity to join with him in caring for others.
