Throughout this study of the book of Ruth, we will see the counter-cultural way that Ruth acted in her masculine-dominant society. She is affirmed by the Jews as a woman of tremendous character.
In this third message, we focus on the way that Ruth attracted people's attention by her kindness. She listens and follows Naomi's advice, she lays at Boaz's feet, and he agrees to care and protect her as a relative-redeemer. We, too, have the opportunity to take the "hesed" kindness of God and share it with others.
