In this series, we will look at several of the wives and princesses in David's kingdom. We will see how they were not treated at equals and oftentimes taken advantage of or abused.
In this first message, we look at David's first wife, Michal. Michal is the daughter of David's predecessor, Saul, who tries to used Michal as a pawn to capture and kill David. Later she confronts David for his way of worship. As David deconstructs his understanding of worship, he becomes very expressive, which is undignified to Michal. We are challenged to find our own ways to worship (sacred pathways) and to leave space for others to worship in different ways.
