In this third message, we look at David's best known wife, Bathsheba. We examine how purity culture has influenced our understanding to place blame on Bathsheba, but the text holds David responsible for his actions. We also consider Nathan's confrontation of David's sin and how David turned from his evil choices to a restored relationship with God. We, too, can turn to a merciful God to mend our broken hearts.
