In this series, we will look at several of the wives and princesses in David's kingdom. We will see how they were not treated at equals and oftentimes taken advantage of or abused.
In this fourth and final message, we look at the repercussions of David's actions as they trickle down to his son, Amnon, who rapes his half-sister, Tamar. We see how David sweeps the action under the rug, whereas Absalom takes the law into his own hands and has his brother assassinated. We reflect on the importance of supporting survivors of abuse and the need for greater advocacy from us as followers of Jesus.
