In this series, we will examine some of the most confusing Pauline passages. In these sections of Paul's writing, he addresses the role of women in the home, church and community. We will explore what Paul says in these texts and the consistency with his affirmation of women in leadership.
In this first message, we consider Paul's call to submission and love. We see how all of us are to reflect God both through unconditional love and submitting ourselves to lifting up others in the home and beyond. Paul's analogy of the marriage relationships in Ephesus serve as an example for us to emulate as we live out our covenant relationship with Jesus.
