In this fifth message, we look at Queen Vashti. We see how she and her husband, King Ahasauerus, throw a huge party. However, Vashti stood up to the king, who wanted her to promenade in front of the men of the city. Altough banished, Vashti's courage to stand up against the patriarchy serves as example of heroic courage. In a world where women are oftentimes viewed as trophies to be showcased, we need to value and respect them and strive to raise a generation that sees inherant worth and beauty in every person.
