In this opening series of the year focused on the "words" of the Bible that help us to understand God, we will consider the persons of the Godhead. We will look at the essence and nature of God as Father, Son, and Spirit, which will help us to better understand how to relate to God and life full and meaningful lives.
In this third message, we focus on the Son of Man. Looking at Daniel's vision (chapter 7), we see how good triumphs over evil through a "ben adam." This Son of Man is mortal and human like us but comes from the heavens, defeats the evil (beasts) and establishes an eternal kingdom. Jesus self-identifies as the Son of Man and calls us to be human beings who live for the kingdom from above.
