n this series, we reflect on the importance of worship because we serve a good God. We will consider how worship is more than just singing praise to God, but it also includes biblical motifs such as sacrifice, temple, holiness, righteousness, covenant, and priesthood.
In this second message, we reflect on the metaphorical use of "temple" in the Bible. We see how from the beginning (Garden of Eden) to the end (holy city), temple imagery is used throughout the Bible. This points us to Jesus, who brings God's space and human space together and to his Spirit dwelling in us as the people of God.
